This is based on the premise that a reader has read only one indie book or none. What if a reader has read many indie books with mixed results? By the way, I could say the same of traditionally published books.
Thank you, Shomeret. You're right. I've adjusted the questions, and some of the answers, to reflect this. Obviously, I can't list every answer possible, but the ones I listed are based on complaints I've heard the most over the past 2 years from readers. Thank you very much for bringing this up! I hope the survey better reflects what I'm hoping to find out.
Thanks, Lex, I'm very much looking forward to the results, as well. I'm hoping that the answers I gather will help put this issue to rest, as well as show what readers are truly feeling about it. Perhaps the results can be used to help some authors realize they need to make sure their book(s) are as ready as possible before they upload.
